I am using the free version of Resolve. Currently i am struggling with enabling dual screen mode on Mac OS. On Windows i can go to "Workspace -> Dual Screen -> On" and Resolve switches to dual screen mode. On Mac OS i cannot. The "On" in "Workspace -> Dual Screen" is greyed out. I discovered this issue after rendering. I would clear the markers and re-run the job in the render queue which reset the IN/OUT markers. HDR out of Resolve needs the Studio version, unless you're just doing a straight 2020/P3 conversion. I'm only able to see that checkbox enabled on my Studio system, and not in the Free version. When I set the In/Out points from the timeline, the Mark, Create Subclip option is no longer grayed out, but when I select "Create Subclip" no subclip is created in the Media Pool area of the Edit Page. If its greyed out with the recycle logo.. you may have a GPU resource issue. Lets start with one node first and make sure you can select that. Then add a second and see if that works. Peter. HDR out of Resolve needs the Studio version, unless you're just doing a straight 2020/P3 conversion. I'm only able to see that checkbox enabled on my Studio system, and not in the Free version. Those particular settings are also for hardware monitoring - if you don't have a Decklink or Ultrastudio, most of those "Video Monitoring" settings do ...For the clips with filters, I can decompose in place no problem. Clips with speed changes will not decompose (menu item greyed out). Sometimes, I can force conform the clip from the Media Pool, and that will take care of the situation, sometimes when I try to do that, the clip on the timeline turns in to a still frame which is very odd.The New Timeline option is greyed out when navigating in the media page. Switch to the Edit page and right-click inside the media pool and it will possible to create a new Timeline. However, it’s possible to create a new Timeline “from selected clips” directly from the media page : Select clip, right-click and select “New Timeline from ....
